1). well my question was why did it say that Montag said he was just "walking twards the city." Afterall wasnt the city supposed to have been bombed?.. thats been driving me crazy.

Q: Explain what you find interesting or exciting in this part of the book.
A: The part that I found most interesting was when Montag was starting to cross the street to get to Faber's house. I liked this part because the way Ray Bradbury described his journey across the street was so great that i almost felt myself walking across a street. I have been in a position like this when i am so scared to look left or right because either im embarrased or I just am really truley scared.
