1) What do you find confusing? What is something you don’t understand?

Why does the mechanical hound want to hurt Guy? It doesn't seem like he should - after all, he the dog is supposed to work with him..

2) Montag compares Mildred (his wife) to Clarisse and says that Clarisse seems older. In what way does Mildred act more mature and WHY do you think she is more mature? Why does Bradbury (the author) make the contrast between the two?

I think Clarisse seems more mature than Mildred because she relates to things from the past. Mildred seems to care about the present and expensive stuff, and doesn't give much though to anything or anyone else. Even though carisse is considered a weirdo because she doesnt d much of the things that the others either dont want to do because they are afraid of what people think but carisse is more of a down to earth person. If i were guy i would chose clarisse because she is a true person.
