LIAR

Recall a time that you heard a statement of “fact” that was later found to be untrue. It can be from a parent, a teacher, a friend, a government official, a book, or a film. How did you find out it was untrue and how did it make you feel? Did it change your outlook on anything?

I think that one time when i was little my parents always tried to make me eat veggies like broccolli and spinach but i thought i was such a mastermind and threw them behind my couch, which for one made it stink and my parents ended up cleaning behind the couch for some odd reason and they found them. a couple of weeks later they said if i ate my broccolli and did not throw it behind the couch that i would be able to play outside and have a great big bol of ice cream... that night i asked if i could have ice cream they flat out ignored me.
