pericles funeral oration due wed. 5/15

-They try to make a government others want to model; they don't try to copy others.
-They don't try to block their land; they are open to the world
-Individuals are not only interested in their own affairs but in the state's as well.
-They make friends by doing good to others, not by receiving good from them.

These could be good to the debate because these might oppose Socrates' viewpoints. That means he would be the only one who opposes them, which could give them an excuse to attack him.
